Devon Powers is a poet and multidisciplinary artist currently based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Thematically much of her work centers around travel, Americana, and the female experience.  Her art is informed by a vibrant life spent satiating her wanderlust as well as many paradoxical years working in both childcare and nightlife. 

Devon’s poems have been featured in multiple journals and anthologies such as the Moonstone Arts Center in Philadelphia.  As a visual artist, She focuses on painting and mixed media and currently holds a permanent mural installation at Subculture Studio in Philadelphia. 

Devon Has B.A. in Theater and Dance from West Chester University.  After graduating she co-starred in the feature film, Multiplex, as well as performing and Being lead makeup designer for multiple stage productions, and music videos.  She is also a trained pole dancer with seven years of experience.   

Devon’s professional goal is to integrate her background in visual art, performance and writing to eventually provide a space for women to grow and heal through creative expression.  She hopes her work resonates with the listless party girl, the restless daydreamer, and anyone who has dared to wander far enough to find themselves lost.
